66-day Highest Volume Screener

heyyy everyone

so i was messing around with this screener and wanted to try something simple. I just put in one condition to see what would happen.

The condition: latest daily volume is greater than the highest daily volume in the last 66 days

I backtested it on all the nifty 500 stocks and I was kinda surprised to see some really good results. Some stocks actually did pretty well with just that one volume condition-- Wockpharma and ATGL had a pretty high win rate and avg return too.

Is there any way I can improve on this further? I still want more occurrences but also higher returns overall.

Congratulations on building a great screen. Volume spike does give a great exposure to market inertia. But I think it can be on both the bullish or bearish side. Try adding one more condition, “Price going up for the last 3 days, “ and check the results. This should only have bullish stocks.
